The Training and Education Command (TECOM) volleyball team crowned champions twice in 2014.

The team captured the American League Division Title for regular season honors, but they didn’t stop there. The TECOM team then went on to compete with other teams for the overall intramural championship. In a best of three game series they ultimately outlasted Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) to take home the title.

When asked about the experience, Maj. Trievel, Team Captain from New Bern, N.C., said, “this team was a combination of both Marines and civilians that was able to come together as one unit, play hard during the season against tough competition, and succeed in winning the intramural championship game."
