Junior Service Member of the 3rd Quarter FY2014
It is with great pleasure that I commend you on your selection as Field Medical Training Battalion-East (FMTB-E), Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Junior Service Member of the Quarter for 3rd Quarter FY 2014. During this period, as a platoon advisor for class 14030 and 14040, you provided a professional and physically challenging period of instruction to 125 Sailors under your direct charge. As the Command Fitness Leader (CFL) you re-wrote the Physical Fitness Program Battalion Order, which resulted in a 100% Physical Fitness Assessment pass rate and provided structured physical training for Students Awaiting Training. Additionally, as the sole Reconnaissance Recruiting Coordinator for local area Sailors, you coordinated with commands from MCB Camp Lejeune, MCB Cherry Point, MCB Parris Island and Virginia to recruit qualified Sailors into Naval Special Warfare Programs, including: Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman (SARC), Dive Medical Technician (DMT) and Search and Rescue Programs; all of which are critical NECs. Your dedication to duty and personal initiative were instrumental in the successful completion of the Field Medical Training Battalion-East mission and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and United States Naval Service. On behalf of the entire staff, Bravo Zulu Shipmate!
