Commanding Officer, Headquarters and Support

 Lieutenant Colonel Daly is a native of Decatur, Georgia. She graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1993 and law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 1996. She was commissioned a Second Lieutenant through the Officer Candidates Course in 1997.

After completing The Basic School and Naval Justice School, LtCol Daly reported to 2d Force Service Support Group in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina in October 1998. Her assigned duties included Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, Defense Counsel, and Legal Assistance Attorney.

 In June 2001, LtCol Daly was assigned as the Legal Assistance Officer-in-Charge of the Legal Services Center, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. In 2002, she deployed from Okinawa aboard the USS Anchorage as the Staff Judge Advocate for the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Landing Force CARAT. Upon her return to the Legal Services Center, she was assigned as the Installation Law Attorney. In July 2003, LtCol Daly took command of Headquarters Company, Combat Service Support Group-3, 3d Force Service Support Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

 LtCol Daly was selected through the Special Education Program (Law) to attend Georgetown University Law Center where she earned a Masters of Law degree in International Law in 2005. Following graduation, she transferred to Okinawa, Japan as Staff Judge Advocate, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). After two years with the 31st MEU, LtCol Daly was selected to attend Marine Corps Command and Staff College in Quantico, Virginia in June 2007 and graduated with a Masters of Military Studies.

 In July 2008, LtCol Daly deployed to Iraq as the Staff Judge Advocate, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward). On her return in 2009, she assumed the duties as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing.

 In March 2010, LtCol Daly deployed with I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) to Afghanistan as the Operational Law and Detainee Operations Chief, Office of the Staff Judge Advocate. After deployment in March 2011, she was assigned as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, I Marine Expeditionary Force. In February 2012, LtCol Daly assumed the duties as the Staff Judge Advocate.

 LtCol Daly’s personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with three gold stars, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. She is married.
