Mission
As a Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORES) unit permanently assigned to the School of Infantry West, Mobilization Training Battalion (MTBN) provides pre-deployment training for Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR) and active duty Marines in order to increase individual war fighting Skills and prepare for future operations.
