Congratulations! You have orders to Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry (East). You are joining the ranks of some of the most professional and dedicated Marines in the United States Marine Corps.
When you come to Camp Geiger, you must be in your Service Alpha uniform with a fresh haircut and shave. You need to bring all your issued uniforms along with (2) sets of civilian attire and PT gear. In your carry-on luggage, bring one set of utilities (between OCT- APR woodlands/between MAY-SEPT deserts), (1) pair of boots, (1) 8-point cover, Service Record Book, and your Medical and Dental Records. This will allow you to begin training even if your bags get lost. We also recommend you bring $100.00 cash with you. Do not bring laptops or large electronic items.
Check-in goes at Building G644, Ivy Hall (Student Administration) from 0730-1630 and in Building G644, Ivy Hall (Officer of the Day) between 1630-0730.

ITB East Mission: To train and qualify Marines in entry-level infantry military occupational specialties in order to provide the Operating Forces and Reserve Component with Marines capable of conducting expeditionary combat operations.
SOI - East is located on Camp Geiger, aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River. Camp Geiger is about 10 miles south of Camp Lejeune, located off of US Route 17 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
