Reduced services during Wingman Day

16 Feb 2011 | 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs

The 375th Air Mobility Wing will have reduced hours Feb. 18 to accomplish its AMC-directed Wingman Day, as its Airmen participate in commanders' calls, small group discussions, and team building exercises. The activities will focus on mental and physical health, two pillars of Comprehensive Airman Fitness and will emphasize the Wingman concept as the foundation of resiliency. For customers unsure of service offerings at specific 375th AMW locations, it is recommended that they call before their arrival.

The following are the reduced services:

Medical Group: Previously booked appointments will occur as scheduled; the afternoon staff will be on minimum manning.

Logistics Readiness Squadron: LRS Cargo Movement Function will have minimum manning and will only be processing expedited shipments. All other operations will be normal.

Security Forces Squadron: Appointments for issuance of Controlled Area Badges will not be made before noon. Also, DBIDS registration will be limited during the same timeframe.

Force Support Squadron: Customer service (CAC Card) area may experience delays due to minimum manning; however, FSS facilities will be on normal operating hours.

Civil Engineer Squadron: Due to minimum manning, CES will only respond to emergency work order requests.

Public Affairs: Closed (no studios/no location jobs).

Comptroller Squadron (Finance): Closed for the day except for emergencies.
