MARINE CORPS BASE QUANITCO, Va. -- U.S. Marine Corps Education Command and Marine Corps University recognize a distinguished group of adjunct faculty members as recipients of the Maj. Gen. Jones Award for excellence in instruction and exceptional educational support.
Selected from a competitive pool of 368 adjunct instructors, this year’s awardees represent the top 6% of MCU’s adjunct faculty. This distinction reflects their commitment to academic rigor, instructional excellence, and the professional development of Marines.
Through their dedication and expertise, these educators play a vital role in shaping the intellectual and operational readiness of approximately 51,500 students enrolled in the College of Distance Education and Training annually. The faculty members’ contributions ensure Marines are prepared with the critical thinking skills, leadership abilities and professional competence required to uphold the Marine Corps’ legacy as an elite fighting force.
