Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and Western Recruiting Region Chief of Staff Col. Carl F. Huenefeld, stands before the depot and WRR’s commanding general, Maj. Gen. Ronald L. Bailey, and depot sergeant major, Sgt. Maj. Sylvester D. Daniels, during his formal retirement ceremony. The ceremony was held on the depot’s Shepherd Memorial Field March 25.
