Daniel Casey, a counselor at Cesar Chavez High School in Laveen, Ariz., gets an ear full during his first few minutes on the famous yellow footprints of the depot’s Receiving Company, where all new recruits are greeted and welcomed to Marine Corps recruit training. The drill instructor handling Casey’s welcome is Sgt. Justin L. Hansen of Receiving Company.
