Master Sergeant Wilson reported to Marine Corps Recruit Training MCRD Parris Island, SC on July 22nd of 1997, and completed recruit training at MCRD Parris Island, in October of 1997. Upon completion of recruit training, Private Frist Class Wilson reported to Marine Communications Electronic School in 29 Palms CA, for his MOS Training as a field Radio Operator.
February 1998, upon completion of school Private Frist Class Wilson reported to 31st Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa Japan, where he served as a Field Radio Operator.
In July of 1999, Corporal Wilson transferred to VMU-2, Headquarters and service Company Cherry Point NC, to serve as a Field Radio Operator.
December of 1999, Sergeant Wilson was assigned to 3rd Marine Division, 4th Marine Regiment, Headquarters and Service Company Okinawa Japan, to serve as the Battalion Assistant Radio Chief.
In February of 2006, Staff Sergeant Wilson was assigned to 2nd Marine Division, 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion Camp Lejeune NC, for assignment as the Battalion Assistant Radio Chief.
In February 2008, Staff Sergeant Wilson successfully completed Radio Chiefs Course and was transferred to 3d Marine Division, Communications Company, Headquarters Battalion Okinawa Japan, as the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge of Transmissions Platoon.
January 2009, Gunnery Sergeant Wilson was assigned to Marine Corps Communication Electronic School, Bravo Company, Senior Courses, 29 Palms CA, where he served as instructor and Senior Instructor to the Systems Chiefs, and Communications Chief Course.
In April 2013, Gunnery Sergeant Wilson was transferred to 1st Marine Division, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Battalion, Headquarters and Service Company, as the Battalion Radio Chief.
In February 2014, Master Sergeant Wilson was transferred to 1st Marine Division, 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Headquarters and Service Company, as the Battalion Communications Chief.
In June of 2015, Master Sergeant Wilson reported to Training and Education Command as the Equal Opportunity Advisor in Quantico, VA where he is currently serving.
MSgt Wilson personnel awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, (3) Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, (3) Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Combat Action, (5) Good Conduct Medal.
