Range and Training Programs Division (RTPD) executes integrated programs for range, systems, and training environments in order to enable the achievement of the TECOM mission to train and educate the force. RTPD serves as the principal staff section responsible for, but not limited to the following: enabling the Marine Corps Training Environment through the execution and management of the Marine Corps institutional range program and live, virtual, and constructive training capabilities, which include training systems, support systems, and associated services; facilitating the integration of these training resources into FMF home station training (HST) and Service-level training exercises to support Marine Corps standards based training leading to individual and unit readiness; providing for the requirements development, resource sponsorship, accountability management, execution oversight, utilization analysis, evaluation, and accreditation of TECOM fielded range and training systems; coordinating with the TECOM HQ Staff in the development of Service-level doctrine, policies, orders, and/or other governance documents
